This is the first bidirectional power supply with an energy recycle function that aims to replace the 2 units ordinarily used in the battery manufacturing process with a single BIC-2200 unit. This solution can not only deliver AC power to the DC, but when the DC needs to be discharged, it also converts the DC energy back to the AC grid for use by surrounding equipment in the plant. The timing of this discharging process can also be programmed to achieve peak-shaving and valley-filling, reducing electricity costs during the charging process. Adopting the BIC-2200 series can greatly increase the energy utilization rate and achieve the advantage of reducing the construction and production cost.
To meet safety requirements the BIC-2200 series is fully certified, including CE, UL, TUV and CB 62368-1 certification. The energy recycle function too is designed in accordance with the IEC 62477-1 regulation and adopts a fully digital design, optimizes the operation through digital control, so that its two-way conversion efficiency is as high as 93%, which reduces the loss of energy conversion. Customers can also choose models that support CAN Bus communication protocol, which is in line with trending power management and smart factories. Apart from this the BIC-2200 series can be quickly switched in less than 1ms during AC-to-DC and DC-to-AC two-way conversion to respond to various process changes thus allowing customers to flexibly increase or decrease the load. It can be operated 5 units in parallel (total power up to 11000W), which not only improves the flexibility of the production, but also meets the need of different scales of production. Overall, this series not only reduces construction, production, and maintenance costs, but also reduces the carbon emissions of power plants.
Another one of Taiwan’s marvel is PLANET’s IGS-6325-5X1T that is helping solve the uninterrupted networking problem thus ensuring that resources are being used efficiently. It improves the technology of Optical Fiber Ethernet with highly-flexible, highly-extendable and easy-to-install features. It offers up to 120Gbps data exchange speed via Optical Fiber interface and the transmission distance can be extended to 120km. It also comes with strong, rapid, self-recovery capability to prevent interruptions and external intrusions. Incorporation of ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) into customer’s automation network enhances reliability and uptime. With its built-in, robust Layer 3 routing protocols, the device ensures reliable routing between VLANs and network segments. The routing protocols can be applied by VLAN interface with up to 128 routing entries thus making it an ideal solution for industries, offers greater security, control and bandwidth conservation, and high-speed uplink.
Connecting to 5G NR and Wi-Fi 6/6E APs, IGS-6325-5X1T can solve insufficient bandwidth problems, thus providing wireless and wired networks with 5G and ultra-high-speed transmission suitable for IIoT, telecom network, and FTTx deployments. Designed for IIoT, industrial automation, and smart city, it comes with industrial-grade five 10G SFP+ optical fiber ports and one 10G Gigabit Ethernet port. It supports L2/L3/L4 and IPv4/IPv6 dynamic routing and offers total cybersecurity protection, compliant with the IEC 62443 standard.
